Stiglitz: The Man Who Predicted It All

Joseph Stiglitz [1], the professor who won the Nobel Memorial Prize in Economic Sciences (2001). We have been following Stiglitz's work for some time, and is rare to see him on TV. If you think Roubini is smart, I would say Stiglitz is the one at the forefront but the mainstream media rarely gives him the opportunity to talk about what he saw coming. When Stiglitz warned politicians about the crisis, nobody bothered to listen. Mainstream economists will try make sure the current Obama administration is not paying attention to him.

Oh by the way, President Obama [2] said in early July that he would nominate Robert Hormats, a vice chairman of Goldman Sachs International, to a top economic position at the State Department. Mr. Hormats, 66, will be under secretary of state for economic, energy and agricultural affairs. Another GS scum [3]!
