www.321gold.com is good -- I read the news off it sometimes. www.goldmoney.com is also a very good one.

Boon, thanks for your previous reply. Yes, i am tempted to get into gold, but yesterday trading saw the candlestick resting on EMA 90 days, since i dont have access to tick data, i am hoping a bounce will happen. Boon, do you know apart from buying gold/ gold saving book from Maybank, AMPREVIOUS (Unit trust), do we have other way to invest in gold in Malaysia?

some usefull website:

http://www.financialsense.com/index.html (my favourite)

Hi ct!

Great to see you here. I hope you are doing all well!

Is difficult to time the when and where at times. In my view, yesterday was a very important day for Gold. I often look for a meaningful pivot before I do anything, and yesterday's candle could be one. I didn't expect Gold to find support so quickly, but it might have. Anyway, I have not capitalised on it yet. I will do more homework before I commit.

I would say Gold is one of the easiest for any investor who wants to get him/herself some form of wealth protection in the current inflationary environment. The BoE just recently foolishly followed the footstep of the Fed -- they are all printing money! Is crazy for me seeing what they are all doing, using OUR money.

Many thanks for the links.

Best regards
Boon

I have no idea of what options are available for Gold investors in Malaysia.

Public Bank Bhd (PBB) rceently launched it's Gold Savings Account. It is similar to that GSA of Maybank, but with smaller spread of 3%. The drawback is the smallest denomination is 10grams. I have yet to check it out in detail, will do soon.

Daily gold OHLC (London Exch) - http://finance.yahoo.com/q/hp?s=GLD

Gold Charting - http://stockcharts.com/h-sc/ui?s=$GOLD&p=D&yr=0&mn=4&dy=0&id=p71316421307
(try "$XAU" as well)

Good luck!

PBB's initial purchase is 20gm for their Gold Savings A/C, but purchases/sale after that are in 5gm minimums.

Functions more like a savings A/C, any idea of any good sites to trade?
