Yup! I have the same thinking. I believe the market will going down. I strongly think that KLCI will hit 1k level. (To be honest, I have share my idea with my CIO- KLCI hit 1k, but he dont think it will be). Maybe I am wrong too?

When mkt going down, bond price go up. Hope local investor like ama,agong know their risk, better switch to bond fund before their return on equitiy nor balance funds is collapse :)

There are many kinds of bonds von. What I had participated recently was the US Treasury. I was simply being an opportunist -- buying low and selling higher for a quick profit.
I do not suggest investing in the US Treasury at this moment in time, for simple and obvious reason: it is yielding less than headline inflation.
