Boon,
i not undertand. . .why the calc on P/L need times 4. I know is something related with the tick size.
What is meaning of 1/4 cent/bu?
please assist. thanks
bu = bushel (the unit used for Soybeans)
A 1/4 cent move in price equals $12.50 per contract.
A 1 cent move in price equals 4 * $12.50 = $50.00 per contract.
And each contract is for 5,000 bu.
And the price is quoted in cent.
Boon,
Thanks for your reply.
No wonder trade in future can earn so much .It is because of the leverage? Thanks for sharing.
