The Money Masters discusses the topics of money (as it relates to central banking and fractional reserve banking), debt, and taxes, and purports to describe the development of those subjects from their origin in the "dark ages". The film claims that what it calls the "safe and easy guaranteed huge profit made by printing money" is currently being used in the United States to benefit a few wealthy individuals. It argues that this situation should be remedied, so that this alleged profit benefits the public good, as, according to the film, has been the case during four periods in the history of the United States.
